Washington, D.C. - March 1, 2002 | Congressman Tom Davis (R-Va) announced today that Mike Bowman has been awarded the 2001 Texas Businessman of the Year Award.

The award recognizes the top US business leaders who have successfully integrated business and financial success with the support of Republican issues.

Bowman was selected to receive the award for his efforts as a member of the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) Business Advisory Council. This council consists of prominent business people from across the country who work together to discuss and promote business issues in Congress.

Bowman has also been nomianted for the NRCC Republican of Year award.
